‘Rare Beasts’: First Footage of Billie Piper In Her Venice & London Film Festival Directorial Debut

Written, directed by and starring Piper, the ‘anti rom-com’ follows a career-driven single mother who falls in love with a charming, traditionalist. David Thewlis, Lily James, Kerry Fox and Antonia Campbell-Hughes also star.

Vaughan Sivell produces the feature, which is a Western Edge Pictures Production made in association with Ffilm Cymru Wales, 42MP, Fields Park Media Partners and Great Point Media.

Doctor Who, Secret Diary Of A Call Girl and Penny Dreadful star Piper was named best actress at the UK’s Evening Standard awards in 2016 for stage role in Yerma.
