Eloise Singer is a multi-award-winning, Emmy-nominated producer, writer, and director.
She founded Singer Studios in 2017, with a mission to empower the next generation of creatives to tell the boldest stories across film, podcasts, documentaries, and immersive media. The company uses the power of storytelling to challenge the status quo and spark change.
Singer created and directed The Pirate Queen (2023), starring Lucy Liu, which shot to critical acclaim, winning the Storyscapes Award at Tribeca Film Festival and the Discovery Award at Raindance Film Festival. Backed by Meta and the BFI, the project was hailed by critics as "remarkable", "captivating" and "a VR masterpiece", earning Singer both Emmy and PGA nominations.
Together with Lucy Liu, she is expanding The Pirate Queen Franchise into a graphic novel, a podcast and an animated TV series.
Singer then created and directed Trailblazer (2025) starring Daisy Ridley, which premiered at Venice Film Festival, SXSW, and Sheffield Doc Fest, earning multiple nominations, including Three Lions Award at Venice. Described as “genuinely incredible” by Kermode and Mayo and “a groundbreaking VR experience” by Creative Boom, the project received widespread acclaim.
She is expanding the Trailblazer franchise into a graphic novel series and a feature film, with Oscar and BAFTA-winning Lesley Paterson (All Quiet on the Western Front), and Daisy Ridley attached as executive producers.
Before establishing Singer Studios, she worked at Pinewood Studios on film and television productions for BBC, Channel 4, Netflix, Disney, and Paramount Pictures, including The Crown (2016), Murder on the Orient Express (2017), and Ready Player One (2018).
Singer executive produced Billie Piper's film Rare Beasts (2019), starring Lily James and David Thewlis, and Universal's film The Last Rifleman (2023), starring Pierce Brosnan.
She regularly hosts and produces the podcast Women Behind the Scenes, a series championing the stories of award-winning filmmakers, which became the highest-charting new podcast in its release week, and was hailed by BBC Film & TV Critic Rhianna Dhillon as a "must-listen."
Singer is currently producing and directing Inheritance, a highly anticipated three-part investigative documentary series. The project is executive produced by XYZ Films and Emmy-winning filmmaker Chris Smith from Library Films.
